STIHL chainsaw boss wants more work without salary compensation

Dr. Nikolas Stihl, chairman of the board of STIHL, the German company known for chainsaw production, wrote an opinion article for Euronews where he advocates for labor and structural reforms for Germany.

In his article, Stihl proposes, among other measures, the implementation of a 40-hour work week without salary increase, arguing that this is a way to preserve the country's prosperity and maintain the welfare state.

The businessman justifies his proposals as necessary to face the economic and social challenges that Germany currently faces, considering them essential to guarantee the future sustainability of the German social model.
