White House emissaries Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner arrived in Kiev this Sunday to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. The visit follows a lightning trip to Moscow, where they met with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The day before, the two emissaries presented the Russian leader with a proposal to end the war in Ukraine. Kushner and Witkoff were received in the Ukrainian capital amid high-level diplomatic negotiations aimed at reaching a peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine.
