The Israeli army and settler groups, protected by military forces, attacked today at least 11 villages and towns in the Ramallah province in central West Bank. The operations took place simultaneously with the visit of the US ambassador, Mike Huckabee, to Palestinians in the region.
The Israeli forces are carrying out these operations in the West Bank while the war in the Gaza Strip continues, which began in October 2023 following the Hamas attack. The West Bank region has been targeted by frequent military incursions and settler attacks in recent months.
Mike Huckabee, the US ambassador, was present in the region during the attacks. The diplomatic visit took place on the same day that Israeli forces and settlers invaded Palestinian villages in the Ramallah area.
These operations are part of an ongoing pattern of violence in the occupied West Bank, where both the Israeli army and extremist settlers have been carrying out regular attacks against Palestinian populations, causing displacement and destruction of property.
