The Provincial Government is promoting a motion of solidarity and support for Ceuta. The situation in the autonomous city stems from the massive and irregular entry of thousands of people through the border on July 30 and 31.
This week, gatherings were held from north to south of the province and also throughout the rest of Spain. These demonstrations were convened by the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP).
The gatherings took place before the appearance of the president of the central Government, Pedro Sánchez, who traveled to Ceuta during that period to address the migratory crisis.
