The PS Municipal Group in Funchal met with ACAPO – Association of the Blind and Partially Sighted of Portugal, through its Madeira Regional Nucleus, in a meeting that allowed a better understanding of the difficulties and challenges faced daily by blind people and those with reduced vision in the municipality. The meeting aimed to identify the main needs of this population and discuss measures to make Funchal a more accessible and inclusive city. Elements from the Madeira Regional Nucleus of ACAPO participated in the meeting, representing the interests and concerns of blind people and those with low vision. The leader of the PS Municipal Group expressed the intention to work to improve the living conditions of these people in the municipality.
