VINDOURO 2026 STARTS IN SÃO JOÃO DA PESQUEIRA WITH PRIME MINISTER'S PRESENCE

The 24th edition of VINDOURO started on September 4th in São João da Pesqueira, with an opening session that featured live music. Soprano Sílvia Sequeira performed accompanied by the Philharmonic Band of Nagoselo do Douro and children from the municipality.

The opening ceremony included speeches by the president of the Municipal Council of São João da Pesqueira, Manuel Cordeiro, and by the Minister of Agriculture and Sea, José Manuel Fernandes.

The Prime Minister, Luís Montenegro, was present at the event, touring the venue and visiting the various exhibitors, where he met with producers, companies and other agents linked to the wine sector.

VINDOURO 2026 continues in São João da Pesqueira, bringing together producers and territorial agents in a celebration dedicated to wine and Douro identity.
