VINHAIS WILL BRING HEALTH SUPPORT TO ALL PARISHES STARTING IN 2027

The Municipality of Vinhais will implement starting in 2027 the program "More Health in the Parishes of Vinhais", a municipal initiative that aims to bring health promotion and disease prevention closer to all populations of the county.

The program represents an annual investment of 93,600 euros, with the allocation of 300 euros monthly to each Parish Council for the development of actions adapted to the needs of their respective communities.

The initiatives covered may include areas such as prevention, health literacy, active aging and the promotion of healthy lifestyles, with special attention to the most vulnerable groups.

Through this partnership with the Parish Councils, the municipality intends to create a more decentralized response adjusted to local reality, reinforcing proximity in a county marked by geographic dispersion and population aging.
