Air quality concerns in schools in Barcelos, Guimarães and Ponte de Lima

The measurements taken near schools in the municipalities of Barcelos, Guimarães and Ponte de Lima revealed episodes of air pollution that warrant closer monitoring of educational establishments. The data are part of the "Respirar Fundo" project, promoted by the Association 'Bora Ambientar, which monitors air quality in 13 Portuguese schools. In the Braga district, the project included these three locations and the results obtained indicate concerning levels of pollutants in the air near the educational establishments assessed. The association 'Bora Ambientar is the entity responsible for implementing and monitoring this air quality monitoring initiative in the Portuguese schools involved in the project.
