The floods that hit Nepal in August caused a devastating toll of 1,344 dead and 4,886 missing, according to the latest report from Nepali authorities. Among the missing, at least 606 are foreign citizens.
About 8,000 agents remain mobilized in search and rescue operations in the affected areas. On Friday, two workers were rescued alive after remaining trapped for 10 days, demonstrating that there is still hope of finding survivors.
