Dinho Ouro Preto, leader of Capital Inicial, and Dado Villa Lobos, guitarist of Legião Urbana, performed together on the Sunset stage at Rock in Rio this Friday (4). The two musicians carry a story that begins long before the music, when they met at age 9.

The two were raised together as half-siblings after the Legião Urbana guitarist's mother married the Capital Inicial leader's father. The decades-long relationship gives dimension to the reunion of the two stars at the festival.

Dinho commented on the ease of sharing the stage with someone he has known for so long, avoiding a more formal relationship. Dado summarized the relationship straightforwardly, stating that they have been accomplices for 50 years since childhood.
