Rock in Rio began this Friday (4th) with a lineup marked by rock in different variations. The festival kicked off its 2026 edition with a day of intense heat, where artists performed under the strong sun.
Among the highlights of the first day, Di Ferrero opened the festival's Sunset Stage wearing black in the afternoon heat, with a more pop and sexy vibe than that of his band NX Zero. The singer revisited NX Zero classics and performed a Nirvana cover, getting the stage lineup started.
The English duo Nova Twins was responsible for opening the World Stage with their "sonic pandemonium." Amy Love and Georgia, members of the band, brought their energy to the festival's main stage.
Foo Fighters closed the World Stage lineup as the main attraction of the night, completing a first day of festival that mixed different variations of rock.
