The vocalist of American band Rise Against, Tim McIlrath, told the audience during the Rock in Rio show this Friday (4) that all of the band's equipment "disappeared" and didn't arrive in time at Cidade do Rock, at the Olympic Park, in Barra da Tijuca, in the Southwest Zone of Rio de Janeiro.
The problem, however, was quickly resolved by the festival's organization, which loaned new instruments to the group. McIlrath thanked Rock in Rio and the other bands that helped the band get the equipment.
— All of our equipment just vanished — McIlrath said on stage. — But this festival and the other bands were so cool to us that they got us on stage with instruments we had never seen in our lives.
The singer didn't stop talking to the audience during the show at Palco Mundo, commenting on the disappearance of the equipment during one of these interactions with the fans.
