Roberta Miranda, at 69 years old, revealed that it took her over 50 years to openly talk about her bisexuality. The singer and songwriter said she silenced part of her affective life after a request from her mother, still during her youth. "I kept this for years," the artist stated.
According to Roberta, this decision made her lose relationships and led her to "succumb to a part" of herself. The artist revealed that this was a difficult consequence to carry throughout her life.
The revelations were made in the interview given to the program "Provoca", hosted by Marcelo Tas, aired last Tuesday (8). In the conversation, the singer revisited highlights of her trajectory, addressing everything from childhood and career to questions about her sexuality and her relationship with family.
Roberta also talked about "Majestade, o sabiá", one of her biggest hits. The song was composed in just five minutes, in São Paulo, while she was living in someone's apartment, as she revealed during the interview.
