A 63-year-old man and a 59-year-old woman were arrested today in Famalicão. The authorities managed to locate and arrest both individuals, who had been on the run for some time.
The two arrested had been sought since 2023 by the competent authorities. Their escape lasted several months until today's operation.
The crimes committed by these individuals resulted in prison sentences of more than five years. The convictions motivated the arrest warrants that had been in effect since last year.
The arrest in Famalicão now allowed the capture of both fugitives, who will be referred to serve their respective prison sentences.
