CIRES, a chemical sector company belonging to the Shin-Etsu Group located in Estarreja, once again relied on ENERGEST to optimize the energy efficiency of its facility. The project consisted of integrating a third heat economizer to better utilize the energy from exhaust gases, increasing the overall system efficiency. The recovery boiler, which already produces 35 t/h of saturated steam at 10 barg, was thus enhanced.
