TAP: Government begins final negotiations with the two candidates

The Portuguese Government began final negotiations with two candidates to buy TAP, after the overall evaluations of both proposals proved to be very close.

Air France-KLM and Lufthansa are the two airline companies moving forward to this conclusive phase of the privatization process of the Portuguese airline. The proximity of the evaluations between the two proposals led the executive to decide to keep both candidates in negotiation, rather than eliminate one of them at this stage.
