ZAP Notícias4 September 2026 at 17:10

The Chinese company Xiaomi signed preliminary agreements with eight German dealership groups to build its sales and service network for electric vehicles in Europe. This signing marks Xiaomi's official entry into the European electric car market, representing a significant step in the brand's global expansion.

The eight dealership groups involved are Ernst Dello, Autohaus Dinnebier, Emil Frey Germany, Fett & Wirtz Automobile, Hahn Automobile, LUEG Mobility, Penske-Jacobs Innovation and SPT Avior. These partners will be responsible for the distribution and maintenance of the Chinese brand's vehicles in Europe.

The announcement was made during the IFA technology fair, held in Berlin, taking advantage of the event's international visibility to reinforce Xiaomi's image as an electric vehicle manufacturer. The company intends to begin commercialization of its cars in Europe in 2027.

The information was released through a Xiaomi statement, quoted by the EFE news agency, which detailed the preliminary terms of these agreements with the German dealers.
