Tivoli shapes hospitality talents with new academy

Tivoli Hotels & Resorts launched the Hotel Academy Lab program, a pilot training project in the hospitality sector. The initiative was developed in partnership with IEFP (Institute for Employment and Vocational Training).

Through this training program, 31 professionals were trained in the hospitality sector. Of the trainees who completed the program, 15 were integrated into the teams of the various Tivoli hotels in Portugal.

This project represents an investment by the hotel chain in qualifying professionals for the tourism sector, also leveraging the resources and structure of IEFP for the training component.

Social Security data from March 2026 reveal significant differences in average Social Insertion Income values between Portuguese districts: while Faro recorded an average of 361.20 euros per household, Beja reached 483.70 euros, a difference of 122.50 euros monthly. This disparity does not reflect fixed values per region, but rather the average of processed benefits, which vary according to household composition and considered income. The RSI is calculated based on a reference value of 247.56 euros, plus percentages for each household member, and is intended for people in situations of extreme poverty. The benefit will be replaced by the Single Social Benefit from December 31, 2026.
