The Agualva-Cacém Volunteer Firefighters' Pool reopened to the public on September 1st, kicking off the new season and the 2026/2027 school year. The pool was accessible to members and users after a period of closure for construction work.
The new season began with improvements to the facilities, namely the installation of new equipment. According to the association, the investment aimed to enhance the quality, safety, and comfort provided to the pool's users.
Despite the reopening, maintenance work continues, including painting and minor repairs. These interventions are being carried out outside of class hours and without users present, so as not to interfere with the normal operation of the pool.
The pool's management team stated that it continues to invest in the facilities and the community, emphasizing that the return to activity comes with better conditions for users.
