Traffic will be restricted on the IP3, between Coimbra and Viseu, on September 7, 8, and 9, due to repair and road requalification works. According to Infraestruturas de Portugal (IP), on Monday, September 7, it will be necessary to close traffic in the Coimbra/Viseu direction, between the Mortágua Junction and the Santa Comba Dão Junction.

Witnesses believe the creature could be a gray fox or a fisher cat, but police have not yet managed to capture it to identify the species. The main suspicion of authorities is that the animal is contaminated with the rabies virus, and the population has been advised to remain alert to their surroundings.
