The Commercial and Industrial Association of Barcelos – Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACIB-CCI) presented eight proposals that it wants included in the 2027 State Budget. The measures are primarily aimed at micro and small businesses in the region.
Among the proposals is the possibility of reducing or suspending IRC advance payments when there is a drop in billing. This measure aims to ease the tax burden on businesses during times of financial difficulty.
ACIB-CCI justifies these proposals with the need to reduce operational costs for small businesses, which face greater financial challenges in the current economic context.
The eight measures will now be analyzed in the context of the 2027 State Budget discussion, with the association hoping that at least some will be considered by the government.
