Azores Airlines recorded a loss of 37.1 million euros in the first half of the year, representing an improvement of 3.9 million euros compared to the same period the previous year. The Azorean airline thus managed to reduce its financial losses in the first half.
SATA Air Açores, another regional airline from the Azores, also posted negative results in the same period, but with smaller losses. The company recorded a loss of 2.1 million euros, having also managed to improve its figures compared to the same period last year.
The two airlines, which operate from the Azores archipelago, continue to face significant financial challenges, although the data indicates a trend of improvement in operating results during the first half.
