On September 26, the Municipal Library of Lagoa hosts two sessions of "Run, Run, Little Gourd", as part of the monthly feature "From the Library to Families". The event runs between 10am and 12:15pm and is organized by the Maria Cachucha project.
The activity is aimed at parents and children, with a first session for children from 3 to 6 years old, from 10am to 11:15am, and a second for children from 6 to 9 years old, from 11:30am to 12:15pm. The story follows an old woman who sets off for her granddaughter's wedding and experiences an adventure full of mishaps along the way, where a gourd plays a special role.
After the story, children and families will participate in preparing pumpkin pancakes, thus uniting literature and cooking in an interactive experience for all.
The Maria Cachucha project was founded by Clélia Pereira, a kindergarten teacher, librarian teacher at the ESPAMOL school group, and ambassador for Livros Horizonte publishing house. Participation is free, upon registration through the address [email protected].
