São Teotónio Hospital, located in Viseu, underwent a set of interventions aimed at improving the energy and water performance of its facilities. The project represented an investment of over 6.5 million euros, with an exact total cost of 6,536,179.93 euros.
The intervention was promoted by the Local Health Unit of Viseu Dão-Lafões (ULSVDL), the entity responsible for managing the hospital. The main objective of the works carried out was to reduce energy and water consumption in the hospital facilities.
This project is part of a broader strategy for energy efficiency and sustainability in health services, contributing to the reduction of the hospital unit's operational costs and to a lower environmental impact of its activities.
