Euronews Portugal4 September 2026 at 06:37

Euronews Culture chose "Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma" as Film of the Week. It is the third feature film by Jane Schoenbrun, completing their so-called Screen Trilogy.

The film is described as a feverish delirium combining fear, desire and bloody catharsis, exploring themes of teenage sexuality in a summer camp setting.

This work marks a return to cerebral, bold and experimental cinema, which prioritizes emotion over fatigue.

Dave Grohl revealed in an interview with The Guardian that he lived on Kurt Cobain's couch for eight months in Olympia, Washington, after being recruited as the Nirvana drummer in 1990. The musician recalled feeling like "an alien" when arriving in the city and suffered from negative perceptions about rock listeners, also describing his experience touring in vans, sleeping in sleeping bags on stage and surviving on instant noodles.
