The film "Obsession" will be screened at the Grand Auditorium of the Centro Cultural Vila Flor (CCVF) in Guimarães, this Thursday, September 3rd, at 9:15 PM. The story follows Bear, a young man who works at a music store and is in love with his colleague Nikki. Unable to express his feelings and weighed down by insecurity, Bear turns to an unconventional solution: he buys a mystical artifact called "One Wish Willow" from an esoteric products shop, which promises to grant a wish.
Bear wishes for Nikki to love him more than anyone else in the world. The wish comes true almost immediately, but what seemed like the solution to his problems quickly turns into a nightmare. Nikki's love becomes an extreme obsession, marked by dependency and possessiveness, driving the relationship into dangerous and unpredictable territory.
"Obsession" offers an approach to love, dependency, and the boundaries between passion and obsession, through a narrative that blends horror, suspense, and dark humor.
