The maximum price of road diesel in Madeira will drop 4.8 cents per liter from Monday. This reduction is part of a weekly update of fuel prices in the region, determined by joint order from the regional secretariats of Economy and Finance.
The colored and marked diesel, used mainly for other applications, will see a decrease of 4.5 cents per liter. This difference in reduction between the two types of diesel reflects the distinct price structures applied to each fuel category.
Between September 7 and 13, the price of road diesel goes from 1.999 euros to 1.951 euros per liter. This decrease represents significant relief for consumers and transport operators in the autonomous region.
The regional authorities publish these orders weekly, setting the maximum prices practiced in Madeira, in a context where fuels in the region frequently show different values from mainland Portugal due to factors such as maritime transport and insularity.
