The complaints focused on difficulties accessing and using the platform.
OpenAI confirmed the instability on its official chatbot status page. The company stated it was working on mitigation measures to resolve the issues reported by users. The failure was publicly acknowledged by the tool's developer itself.
The problems were not limited to ChatGPT alone. The instability also hit Codex, OpenAI's tool focused on programming code. This indicates that the failure may have affected multiple company services simultaneously, expanding the impact among users.
