Ten million euros for fire damage in Valpaços and Vouzela

The Ministry of Agriculture made ten million euros available to address the damage caused by fires that affected the municipalities of Valpaços and Vouzela. This funding aims to support the reconstruction and recovery of the affected areas.

The fire that broke out in Vouzela on July 2 remained active until the 7th of the same month, causing significant damage in the region.

In addition to Vouzela, the fire also spread to the municipalities of Oliveira de Frades and Tondela, both belonging to the Viseu district.

The fire also reached the municipalities of Sever do Vouga and Águeda, belonging to the Aveiro district, expanding the area of destruction caused by this fire outbreak.
