The Government made ten million euros available to address the damage caused by fires in the municipalities of Valpaços and Vouzela. The measure aims to support the populations and territories affected by these fires.

The order that formalizes this decision was signed by the Minister of Agriculture and the Sea, José Manuel Fernandes, and published this Thursday in the Official Gazette, thus making the aid official and binding.

This financial support comes following the fires that affected the two municipalities, causing significant damage to their populations and territories. The amount made available of ten million euros aims to cover a substantial part of the damage caused by these fire episodes.

With this decision, the executive intends to demonstrate the State's commitment to supporting local communities in recovering from the damage caused by the fires, making financial resources available for the reconstruction and restoration of normality in the affected regions.
