A castle is being built in Recreio dos Bandeirantes, in the Southwest Zone of Rio de Janeiro, catching the attention of those passing through the area. The project, called Castelo do Pontal, began two years ago on a 6,011 square meter plot of land, located on Estrada do Pontal.
The construction features towers and walls flanking a large gate, creating an imposing structure in the local landscape. The completion of the works is expected for July 2027.
The leisure complex will have three thousand square meters of built area, including halls for large events, a theme park, outdoor attractions, five suites, a restaurant, a bistro, and party spaces. The project was featured in the column by Leo Aversa, published in the previous edition of the newspaper.
