The Festivities in Honor of Our Lady of the Nativity took place between September 3 and 6 at Largo Rossio da Fonte, near the Chapel, in Mem Martins, under the motto "Tradition, Faith and Joy". The program included four days of music, folklore, gastronomy and fellowship, combining cultural and popular elements with religious tradition.
The Thursday and Friday evenings featured performances by LUZA, Rony Fuego, DJ Jorge Morais, Miguel Azevedo and dances by Duo Nelson & Nelson at the Mem Martins Sport Clube. On Saturday, the 39th Mem Martins Folklore Festival took place at 3:00 PM, followed by performances by DJ Jorge Morais, Nenamus and Duo Nelson & Nelson.
The central moment of the festivities occurred on Sunday, September 6, with the celebration of an Open-air Mass at 4:00 PM, followed by a procession in honor of Our Lady of the Nativity that went through several streets of the parish of Algueirão-Mem Martins. During the route, the traditional sale of traditional Easter cakes took place, at an event that brought together hundreds of faithful.
The last day also included a dance with Duo Nelson & Nelson, the performance of DJ Jorge Morais and the concert of Sangue Ibérico and Band, which closed this year's edition of the festivities.
