The atmospheric instability should return to mainland Portugal on Saturday, October 5th, with possibility of scattered showers and thunderstorms, especially in the North and Central regions. The forecasts from Meteored's reference model indicate an increase in instability that will temporarily interrupt the stable weather scenario that has predominated in recent days.
However, this change should not mean the return of widespread rain to the territory. The expected precipitation has a very irregular and localized character, typical of convective situations, so there may be significant differences even between relatively close locations.
On Friday, the 4th, the meteorological scenario should remain relatively quiet in most of mainland Portugal, with little precipitation expected. Only from Saturday onwards is the change in atmospheric conditions anticipated.
