Fourteen mainland districts under yellow weather warning until Saturday

The Portuguese Sea and Atmosphere Institute (IPMA) extended today the yellow hot weather warning until Saturday. The warning, which initially covered 11 districts, has been expanded to 14 districts in mainland Portugal. This decision comes due to the high temperatures forecast for the coming days. The yellow warning is the second lowest level on a three-level scale of meteorological danger.
