Aguiar-Branco refers to parliamentary leaders whether the motion of censure is debated on September 10 or 17

Aguiar-Branco referred to parliamentary leaders the decision on whether the motion of censure will be debated on September 10 or 17. This issue arises in the context of the parliamentary calendar after the recess period.

The parliament approved a deliberation that set the resumption of parliamentary committee work from September 8. However, Aguiar-Branco clarified that this authorization only concerns committee work.

The President of the Assembly of the Republic recalled that the approved deliberation does not, by itself, determine the resumption of the plenary's functioning before September 15. Thus, setting the date for the debate on the motion of censure will depend on parliamentary leaders.

The decision on scheduling is thus in the hands of the leaders of the parliamentary benches, who must find consensus on which date is most appropriate for the discussion of the motion of censure.
