Chega's motion of censure: "We are all falling for André Ventura's 'silly season' trap"

SIC Notícias2 September 2026 at 23:43

Hugo Soares, the PSD's parliamentary leader, participated this Wednesday in SIC Notícias' program, where he was quite critical of André Ventura and his campaign against the government.

The motion of censure presented by Chega, which took place this Wednesday, represents a new chapter in André Ventura's anti-government strategy, according to Hugo Soares' perspective.

Despite the criticism directed at André Ventura, Hugo Soares considers that PS and Chega are the same, establishing a comparison between the two parties.

The PSD's parliamentary leader thus showed himself willing to comment on Chega's motion of censure, although without expressing support for André Ventura's party's initiative.
