German authorities have identified two suspects in the drone attacks at Leipzig/Halle Airport. The German federal government believes there was participation by the Russian government in the operation.

Security authorities have individuals with connections to Russia under investigation. The suspects are directly related to the attempted attack targeting the airport in the Leipzig region.

The drone attack on Leipzig/Halle Airport is believed to have been unsuccessful. Authorities continue to investigate the connections between the identified suspects and the Russian government.
