The Young Chamber of the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce in Brazil – Minas Gerais held on August 24 another edition of its gathering at Eddie Fine Burgers, in Belo Horizonte. The event brought together members of the associative structure and featured the participation of members of the Portuguese Chamber's board, with distinguished guests Mônia Zahreddine, advisor to the Presidency for Young Chamber affairs, and Renata Andrade, owner of Eddie Fine Burgers and winner of the "Revelation Award" at the Portuguese Festival on June 13. The meeting also served to celebrate in advance the birthday of Miguel Jerónimo, president of the Portuguese Chamber of Minas Gerais.

The gathering provided moments of reflection on migratory experience, entrepreneurship and life paths, promoting closeness between the Portuguese Chamber's board and Young Chamber members. Nádia Vitória, secretary of the Young Chamber and undergraduate student in Administration at the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais, highlighted the transformative capacity of Mônia Zahreddine's story of adversity and Renata Andrade's entrepreneurial trajectory, valuing the construction of the Eddie Fine Burgers brand and the attention to details that contributed to its market positioning.

Mônia Zahreddine shared the journey that took her from Lebanon to Brazil, describing the painful departure without taking photographs, books or keepsakes. The advisor stated that, despite the difficulties, the migratory experience provided strength, courage and new opportunities, emphasizing that Brazil offers a peaceful environment without wars and with many possibilities. Mônia also highlighted the role of the Young Chamber in creating contacts and opportunities between the two countries and with other nations.

Renata Andrade presented to participants the history of the Eddie Fine Burgers group, the challenges encountered since the creation of the brand and the prospects for the future, having started her entrepreneurial journey at age 22. For the hostess, hosting the gathering meant being able to exchange experiences and learn about other cultures, recognizing that receiving the Chamber in her space demonstrates that the brand represents something in the city of Belo Horizonte. The edition was marked by the combination of migratory, business and associative dimensions, in a meeting that sought to bring people together and strengthen contacts between communities.
