Ukraine: Portugal is identifying unused energy equipment to donate to Kyiv

Sábado2 September 2026 at 19:30

Portugal is identifying unused energy equipment to donate to Ukraine. The country is carrying out an inventory of materials and parts that can be sent to Kyiv.

Paulo Rangelo was cited as a source exemplifying this situation. According to him, in the deactivated coal power plants in Portugal there are many parts and material that can be important for energy production in Ukraine.

This initiative arises in the context of Portuguese support for Ukraine's energy recovery, which has suffered significant damage to its energy infrastructure due to the conflict.
