These 9 artists will compete in Hard Rock Rising in Lisbon: find out who's taking the stage

Hard Rock Rising is back in Lisbon in September, bringing live music to the city's Hard Rock Cafe. The international band competition returns to the Portuguese capital with a new edition.

Nine artists have been selected to take part in the competition. These contestants will battle through three knockout rounds for a place in the next phase of the contest.

The competition format provides for successive knockout rounds, where the artists will be evaluated to advance to the following rounds. Hard Rock Cafe Lisbon is the chosen venue to host these events.

September thus marks the beginning of this musical competition in the Portuguese capital, with the nine artists already confirmed to compete for access to the following phases of Hard Rock Rising.

Jewish Community of the Algarve may present art on European Day of Jewish Culture

The Jewish Community of the Algarve may participate in the European Day of Jewish Culture, taking place on Sunday in Porto, with an art display, at an event that includes cinema, literature, music and Sephardic gastronomy.
