Comfort Zone won't bother the audience during Rock in Rio, says Roberta Medina

Roberta Medina, vice president of Rock World, the organization responsible for Rock in Rio, defended this Wednesday (2) the Comfort Zone, the festival's new space that debuts this year. The executive spoke during the test event that gathered guests and press to evaluate Cidade do Rock.

The Comfort Zone is a kind of VIP area located on the left side of the Mundo stage, offering a privileged view to those who paid above the conventional ticket price. The space was announced in May, before the pre-sale opening, with prices much higher than the traditional ticket.

Medina stated that the space does not bother the view of fans who stand at the stage barrier, as it is not positioned in front of the Mundo Stage. The vice president highlighted that the area targets a different audience, one that seeks more comfort, classifying it as a form of inclusion.

According to Medina, the organization works with diverse profiles of people and generations. She explained that while young festival-goers accept staying hours in front of the stage, the Comfort Zone serves those who want a more comfortable experience, without the need to face the typical rush of large-scale events.
