Ternium opens enrollment for internship program with stipend of up to R$ 2,000

Steelmaker Ternium opens registrations for its internship program, offering more than 30 vacancies for work at its steel complex located in Santa Cruz, in the West Zone of Rio de Janeiro. Interested candidates can apply until September 29.

Students of undergraduate programs with expected graduation between the first semester of 2028 and the first semester of 2029 can apply. The vacancies are distributed among areas such as Planning, Operations, Human Resources, Information Technology, Communication, and Administrative and Financial.

The selected candidates will work in a hybrid model, with a six-hour daily workload. Interns will have access to training, evaluations, and semi-annual feedback, as well as opportunities for learning and interaction with different areas of the company.

The new interns will receive a stipend of R$ 1,700 in the first year and R$ 2,000 starting from the second year.

These drivers can be 'blocked' at the entrance to one of the country's busiest roads starting from this date

From September 15th, certain heavy goods vehicles are prohibited from circulating on the Inner Ring Road (VCI) in Porto, on weekdays between 7am and 9pm. The restriction applies to vehicles with gross weight exceeding 3,500 kg, three or more axles, and height equal to or greater than 1.1 meters, generally covering toll classes 3 and 4. The objective is to divert through heavy traffic to the Porto Outer Regional Circular (CREP), where the same vehicles benefit from toll exemptions. Vehicles with loading or unloading operations in Porto or Vila Nova de Gaia can circulate upon prior authorization obtained through a digital platform. Circulating without authorization constitutes a minor offense punished with a fine between 150 and 750 euros.

John Rice Succeeds Peter Zaffino at AIG

Kering Italy has new CEO

Kering announced the appointment of Sabina Belli as president of Kering Italia, effective September 15, 2026, who will be based in Milan and report directly to the group's CEO, Luca de Meo.
