PS proposes congratulatory motion for Francisca Henriques

The PS Parliamentary Group will present at the Legislative Assembly of Madeira a congratulatory motion for Madeiran skater Francisca Henriques for winning the silver medal in the speed skating marathon at the Mediterranean Games Taranto 2026, in Italy.

The 19-year-old athlete represented Portugal in the competition and completed the 42.195 kilometres in second place, with a time of 1:23:15.674 hours. Francisca Henriques was just 46 thousandths of a second behind the winner, Italian Melissa Gatti.
