BTT Seia once again asserted itself prominently in the national scene during the 5th round of the Portugal XCM Cup, held in Montalegre. The mountain team added several individual and collective podiums, consolidating a season of strong competitive consistency.
In the Elite Men category, Rui Ferreira achieved a commendable 5th place. Alexandre Gonçalves crossed the finish line in 15th position, in a performance marked by recovery after being delayed by a puncture at the start of the race. In Elite Women, Andreia Freitas also secured 5th place, and the combination of performances earned BTT Seia the 3rd place on the Elite collective podium.
The highlight of the round belonged to the Master category, where the team dominated the competition by taking the collective victory and three individual triumphs: Raquel Magoito won in Master 40 Women, Bruno Carrilho in Master 45 Men and António Marques in Master 55 Men. Carlos Rodrigues completed the team's performances with an 8th place in Master 35 Men.
The results achieved in the Trás-os-Montes event once again demonstrate the high competitive level of the Seia club in the current edition of the Portugal Cup, reinforcing its reputation in the national XCM circuit.
