Shiniuzhai National Geological Park, located in China's Hunan province, is home to a convenience store that has become known as "the world's most inconvenient convenience store." This small structure is installed on a rocky wall approximately 120 meters above the ground.
The store is only two square meters and mainly serves visitors participating in the rock climbing activities available in the Shiniuzhai area. Its operation is focused on meeting the needs of climbers during their adventures in the region.
Access to the store is through a fully equipped climbing route with metallic structures and fixed safety cables. Visitors use this equipment to attach themselves during the climb up to the structure.
Upon reaching the store, climbers can buy water, drinks, and other basic products to continue their activity. This peculiar location makes the shopping experience as unique as it is challenging for those who visit the park.
