34-year-old British woman stabbed to death at hotel in Albufeira

A woman of British nationality, aged 34, died after being stabbed at a hotel in Albufeira, in the Algarve. The victim's partner, also of British nationality and the same age, was detained by the GNR on suspicion of homicide.

The crime occurred in one of the corridors of the Alfagar Alto da Colina hotel, located in the Balaia area. The woman was at the hotel accompanied by her partner and by a minor child.

The authorities have not yet provided more information about the full identity of the victim or about the circumstances that may have led to the incident. The alert to the authorities was given after the crime occurred.
