Setúbal participates with three activities in the fifth Open House of Archaeology, on the 12th, with the aim of raising awareness of heritage and bringing archaeology closer to the public. The activities take place at the Museu de Setúbal/Convento de Jesus, the Museum of Archaeology and Ethnography of the District of Setúbal (MAEDS) and the historic center, all requiring prior registration. The first activity, "The Other Side of the Convent" (11h00), offers a visit to the convent spaces identified in the archaeological intervention, limited to 25 participants. The second is an experimental archaeology workshop "Marks of Time: Engraving on Slate Plates" (10h00-12h00), which includes a visit to the permanent exhibition and practical engraving demonstration, with 20 places for participants aged 8 and over. The third activity, "Setúbal in Roman Times" (15h00), is a guided tour covering the MAEDS, the House of Mosaics and the Ask Me Arrábida space, limited to 30 participants.
