The 7th edition of MAPI – Arts Showcase for Childhood takes place next week in Vila Real, with a programme dedicated to children and families. The initiative begins with the action "Discovering Arts through the Parishes", which visits Torgueda on September 8 and Andrães on September 9, offering workshops aimed at bringing children closer to different forms of artistic expression.
Between September 11 and 13, Jardim da Carreira hosts the main programming of the event, with activities throughout the three days, including dance and movement sessions, stories, magic, theatre and music. The scheduled shows include "The Ghost Seller", "The Treasure" and "Mr. Straw", as well as the "MAPI Clássica" concert.
The activities take place at various times, with proposals for the morning, afternoon and evening, allowing the participation of children and families throughout the entire weekend. The organisation thus intends to bring contact with the arts to different audiences and spaces in the municipality of Vila Real, through a programme that crosses several artistic areas.
