A first alert dispatch has been issued for a wildfire in the area of Parada de Gatim, in the municipalities of Braga and Vila Verde. The alert was triggered due to the detection of a fire in vegetation in the region.
Authorities have mobilized 16 operatives to the scene of the incident. Two ground resources and one aerial resource have also been deployed to combat the flames and prevent the spread of the fire.
The firefighting operation is currently on the ground carrying out extinguishing operations. Authorities continue to monitor the situation in the affected area.
