Beja will be one of eleven districts under yellow warning due to heat on Thursday and Friday

Correio da Manhã2 September 2026 at 13:25

The district of Beja will be under yellow warning due to heat on Thursday and Friday, joining a group of eleven districts that will be under this warning.

Several people have been heading to the river beaches in the Beja area to enjoy the high temperatures during the last weeks of summer.

The yellow warning, the least severe on a three-level scale, indicates a risk situation for certain activities vulnerable to weather conditions.

This intense heat scenario occurs during the final period of the bathing season, when many visitors seek river beaches as an alternative to seaside beaches to enjoy the last days of summer.
